Graphic Designer / Since 2017
Anna Lois, is a native of Laurel, Mississippi. Early on, her parents identified and encouraged her innate passion for the arts. They provided avenues to experiment in different creative fields throughout her early education.
Assuming an arts degree couldn’t lead to a fulfilling career, Callen began pursuing a degree in Political Science at Belhaven University. Taking a drawing class “just for fun” would inevitably reignite that love for arts and require a major change. Graphic design perfectly married her need for function and form. Callen pursues the arts professionally and recreationally. She particularly enjoys creating illustrations, watercolor paint, and has recently started dabbling in abstract acrylic on canvas.
Travel to Europe and spend several days drinking wine while drawing and painting outdoors...also cliff diving in Greece.
Minerva McGonagall (Harry Potter), a strong female leader who equally respects her superiors and her subordinates. She has uncompromising morals and unbeatable wit and sarcasm.
Although, I don’t get to “read” as often as I’d like. My favorite subscription is my Audible account. I listen to audiobooks several hours a day. A few recent favorites are: The Martian (Andy Weir), Where the Crawdads Sing (Delia Owens) and Chasing the Scream (Johann Hari).
Books I regularly reread: Harry Potter (J.K Rowling), Anne of Green Gables (Lucy Maud Montgomery), and all things Jane Austen.
